Los Cabos, Mexico January 2011

After saving my Air Miles for 10 years, I decided it was about time we used them. In January we traveled to Los Cabos, Mexico and stayed at the Royal Solaris All-Inclusive Resort. We loved it here! This resort has a miniature water park for kids. It also has it's own live entertainment at night, beautiful beaches, 4 swimming pools, and 4 restaurants. We couldn't have asked for anything more in one place. Thanks to Alaska Air (and 10 years of annual fees), we had an amazing family vacation!

Torchlight Seafair Race

This past weekend we ran the Torchlight Seafair 8k Race. This was my 7th time doing it, but our 3rd time as the Steinheiser Family. This year we decided to dress up as Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, Little John Darling, and Little Michael Darling. Paul even transformed our Jogging Stroller into a Pirate Ship!!! What a blast! Our new friends Courtney Jarrell and Holly Hogarth ran with us as well. The race course ran through the streets of downtown Seattle lined with 300,000 spectators waiting for the start of the Torchlight Parade. At times it was hard to run because we were laughing so hard. Young Spectators lined up waiting for "High Fives" from us. Lets just say...our race time was pretty slow. This year's Torchlight Race was the most memorable as it was the first year we won 1st Place in the Costume Contest!!!! We won tickets to the Hydroplane Races and Blue Angels Air Show. How fun!!!

Florida

In September we took a trip to Florida to visit Todd and Michelle (Paul's dad & stepmom). This was Michael's first plane ride!
